Eggnog Update
We tried three more drinks - Borden's canned eggnog, Farm Stores, and something from McArthur's called Crema du Vie, or Creme Punch. The Borden's was the thinnest, milikiest eggnog so far, mild and not too sweet with only a little aftertaste. The Farm Stores on the other hand was the thickest, almost like ice cream - also mild but with a hint of something that almost has a powdered-milk taste to it. The Crema du Vie is the darkest drink so far, almost brown in color - very sweet with noticible rum-like flavors, a reasonable 'kick' to it although non-alcoholic, much better than McArthur's regular eggnog. The Crema du Vie is the best of this bunch although I still find it too sweet - the Farm Stores is the worst, but I've always heard that Farm Stores eggnog is designed for mixing with liquor than drinking by itself, which explains its thickness (even though it has never been advertised as such, IIRC).
